Team Cherry is an independent game development studio located in Adelaide, South Australia. The game’s success established Team Cherry as a prominent name among indie developers. Building on this success, the studio released Hollow Knight: Silksong on September 4, 2025. This sequel shifts the focus to Hornet, a silk-wielding warrior, and introduces players to a new haunted kingdom ruled by silk and song. Silksong continues the series’ tradition of expansive exploration and rhythmic combat while introducing fresh mechanics like vertical traversal.
